Cindy and Greg are the most wonderful hosts! We enjoyed our week there! The pull through sites are so long, big enough for your toys or 2nd car! Of the 30 or so sites, most seem to be monthly rentals. Although we were just there a few nights, people were nice and friendly. The sunsets were amazing! It’s a great spot to homebase while seeing Cochise Stronghold, Chiricahua, Bisbee, Old Pearce, and the Willcox wine trail! Also go see Patty at old Pearce Pottery down the street! Her shop is so fun, and she makes everything herself! Enjoy your stay! (Price shown was weekly rate divided out)

The site is well located to hiking and biking, birding and climbing. Tombstone and Bisbee are close enough to make quick day trips as is Tucson. We would camp there again.

The night sky is a star watchers dream. The owls on property are so beautiful, and to sit and watch them hunt at night was amazing. This campground is so close to everything, you want a friendly RV park and quit nights. This is it! ⁰The national park, tombstone, bisbee and cochise stronghold are less than an hour away. So much too do close by, but so far away from noise pollution.

The somewhat occasional noisy traffic dies down completely at night. There are essentially 360 degree views of the local and distant mountains. I understand it is 10 degrees cooler than Tucson in the summer. This has to be one of the most pleasant roomy campgrounds I have ever been at.
No kids screaming, no teens on ATVs or other annoyances. The owners are still putting the final touches on the place.

We wanted to stay somewhere near Cochise’s Stronghold to explore and hike. There isn’t much available on the east side of the Dragoon Mtns. We wanted to stay somewhere near Cochise’s Stronghold to explore and hike. There isn’t much available on the east side of the Dragoon Mtns. This was it other than some BLM boondocking that wasn’t convenient for big rigs.
It is “ok”. Most pull through sites (10) were very narrow and rocky. We were assigned site #2 but no way we could fit with our slide outs so we parked in site 10. The electricity didn’t work in site 10 so they have us two nights for the price of one ($35). The staff were friendly and accommodating. It is right next to the highway but it’s only a two lane highway and not too busy. There is a laundromat on site. It’s defjni not a destination but good enough to sleep if you are spending your days elsewhere. The property was mowed but there were quite a few goat heads and othe stickers. We would stay again if we had something to do in the area.
