We arrived around 2 PM. The coordinates were spot on. The park is well situated with paved roads and fairly level concrete pads to park on. All spots seem to be FHU. Spots are well spaced as well. Nice walking and biking trail along the river. Has a boat ramp in the lower parking lot. Clean facilities, both bathrooms and showers. Sites... more
We arrived around 2 PM. The coordinates were spot on. The park is well situated with paved roads and fairly level concrete pads to park on. All spots seem to be FHU. Spots are well spaced as well. Nice walking and biking trail along the river. Has a boat ramp in the lower parking lot. Clean facilities, both bathrooms and showers. Sites also come with free cable access. At $40 a night seems to be well worth it for such a wonderful park. Will definitely visit again. FYI, senior citizen discount five dollars per night.

Overall Rating
Located right on the river and on a wonderful bike or walking trail. Basically right in town, however, internet was non-existent for us. Nicely spaced sites, best are on the outer rim. Sites large enough for big rigs. Cell service was fine.

We spent 3 nights at Gill’s Landing and I’m so happy we did. This is a clean and beautiful campground to be proud of. The camp hosts, Flo and Gaylan, were so welcoming and knowledgeable. We spent 3 nights at Gill’s Landing and I’m so happy we did. This is a clean and beautiful campground to be proud of. The camp hosts, Flo and Gaylan, were so welcoming and knowledgeable.
The map of the campground told us exactly how we were going to get to our spot and where everything was. No surprises which is good when your moving around 60+ feet of machinery. We were able to park our enclosed trailer in the lot and my husband was in and out of it quite a few times and he always felt safe.

Nice, well kept small campground. The park hosts are chill and keep the place nice. It’s also a public boat launch on the S Santiam river. There are two public toilets and two showers. It’s on the outskirts of town and near a main road so you will hear some traffic noise during the day. The upside is you are close to amenities like pizza delivery.
There’s a large public park nearby, just walk under the trestle. Small grocery within walking distance.
New this year (2022) is a concrete multi use path right into the campground with very little traffic.
All pads are concrete with a picnic table and fire ring

Small city run RV park on the edge of town. Friendly host does a good job of maintaining a good environment. Apparently the nearby river has attracted homeless which caused some problems in the past. We had no issues during our visit, however shower was kept locked at night. Fellow campers that we met were nice.

We had a lovely spacious site. Clean, well-kept city park convenient to town. Great for day tripping around the area, hikes, gardens, fishing, biking, even drove over to the coast.

There is a beautiful park almost next door and a six mile bike/walking trail. There’s a bit of ugly at the beginning but beautiful views of the river and mostly accessible. Some good fishing spots
Oh, did I mention there’s a boat ramp, a picturesque railroad bridge across the river, and fantastic people
very quiet. It’s really close to Oregon and Oregon State

City park. Small. Full hook ups including cable. Concrete pads. Super hosts. Well maintained yard. Showers clean. Public boat ramp. Right close to downtown for restaurants shopping. Definitely stay again. Road noise is the only problem.
