Georgetown Marina, Lodge & RV Park

Staff was friendly, and helpful on arrival. The prices are good here, and you have access to the lake for fishing. I didn't fish, didn't like it, and left two weeks early. The area I stayed in has lots of mud holes, with black, gooey mud instead of sand. When it rains, it's a swamp. Some lots are very small and cramped, and I felt smothered. Some spaces were larger, and some residents have been there a long time. Outside dogs would bark for long periods, with no peace and quiet. The restroom had one toilet and shower, but were old and dirty. It's about what you would expect for an older fishing camp.

We stayed here because of location being close to friends but I recommend the campground and looks like the fishing and boating would be great. Nice people.
