Do the RV sites here tend to be full? Would a Friday arrival be risky for securing a spot?

The road kicks off some high dust all day by the cars. My van was covered in dust by end of day one. Area is beautiful with campsites right along the creek. Seem water level was too low to catch any fish. Drive from the north and pass the horse camp and you’ll start seeing some nice campsites.

Bring wood to burn, there aren’t a lot of options.

We loved our stay here. Able to get level no problem. Right next to creek, had fishing people walking down the creek. Walking distance to a couple of trailheads. Only downside was the road was fairly busy and created dust.

We only stayed here one night 2 years ago. We left our tent up with our generator inside it, left to go to the gas station and back. Came back to our generator stolen and I believe something else as well. Someone went into our tent and stole our things... it was on the cooler side and we used that generator to keep warm. We had 2 of our small kids with us also. Needless to say we won't be returning there again. We've never had anything stolen before in all the times we have went camping, we weren't even gone long. Now we never leave our things at a site without someone there.

A little challenging to find without cell service, but we took screenshots of the directions - highly recommend.
Slept in a beautiful spot right next to the creek. Clean site with established fire ring and tent spot.
No cell service which we loved.

There are 3 fire rings at this one particular site, but one was decently overgrown. The other is under some trees down by the river. Decently quiet for being near running water and very nice scenery. The road was a little busy but it calmed down after dark.

First time dispersed camping in our 21' camper van so we weren't sure what to expect. We got very lucky to have nabbed this spot since every other one we passed the next day was taken. Site was huge and could easily fit 4 tents or 2 rvs. Down a short gravel drive to level site. You don't see the creek but there are paths to a lovely spot in the Gandy where we even had a little beach. No noticeable bugs and no noise or sight lines from/to other sites.
A few observations about this area. Most of the sites are pretty much right off the gravel road and there was a fair amount of traffic so you will likely get some dust in your camp if it's been dry. The trucks and cars also move pretty quickly up and down the roads so need to be cautious about curves in an RV.
Most sites we passed were tent campers with several tents in a site, including one with a volleyball net set up. We saw one or two class c and maybe 1 TT.
This is very much a local spot with a lot of big groups but it was also very quiet especially since our site was below the road. Sites are well marked. I'm guessing this would be a bit easier to find a spot during the week and if there weren't a virus impacting work and vacation schedules.
Overall, a great first boondocking experience for us.
