Camp site was spacious and clean. Only noise was from nearby road as the camp was quiet. Men's showers need attention as of the three, only one had any water pressure from the handheld shower head. But it was clean.
Would not return until beaches are restored.

Gamble Rogers, if you can get a reservation, is a great destination. It's a few miles from the nearest town, which is just perfect for me. Far enough from the lights and sounds but close enough for a quick trip to an ample supply of shops and restaurants. The campground condition is not really the best; it is on a worn-out sand plot that really needs smoothing out and maybe a layer of gravel. The bathhouse is not the cleanest (by no fault of staff) or newest. But honestly, who cares? You're at the ocean, and that's really all that matters. There are plenty of staff working to maintain the place, but the cocina sand is sticky and tracks everywhere. It's all part of this unique experience.
Visitors should take note that there are multiple entrances to the beach. The entrance at the public park was closed due to erosion, but the entrance within the campsite was open and just fine. When you walk out to the beach, a couple hundred feet away there is a sign that marks the park boundary; once you step past that line, dogs are allowed. There are no lifeguards anywhere and the slope of the beach to the water is rather steep, so at times the waves can be difficult to handle (be very careful, especially with kids). On my first day, there was seaweed everywhere and the surf was too aggressive to manage. On the last day, there was zero seaweed and the surf was as gentle as a bath.

Stayed in #55 on Riverside. Mostly an open area with W/E hookups and dump station. Very quiet and the bath house / showers were pristine.

Great spot x from bathouse close to trails, quiet and clean with spacious sites. However, gnats were horrible, putting bug spray on inside the rv bc hundreds came through screens felt ridiculous.
Lighting candles takes care of them, bc they like warmth and light. Def getting a bugzapper to stay here again

Nice small park with large clean sites. At this time there is no access to the beach from the campground but hopefully by next year all will be repaired.

Even though there are no trees or bushes between most sites, the sites are large enough that it feels fairly private. Lots of class A’s here. But all rigs are welcome, as well as tents. Good t-mobile signal. $7 charge for electrical plus Site cost. With senior discount our rate was $30 total. Pets allowed in camp sites but not on beach.

There are 2 sections of camp ground one on the beach, and one within the park on the intercoastal side. Small campground, very quiet. I was surprised at how quiet actually. the only noise was the ATV the employees ride around the park in, and the lawnmower they chose to do kinda of early on Sunday. Who mows on the weekend? We stayed June 10-13 and there were still empty spaces. There is a nature trail that is a must! this will also take you to the road you cross to get to the beach. while its just a very short walk to the beach, I would suggest loading your beach stuff in a wagon, its a bit of trek if you are carrying stuff. The bathrooms were immaculate. The showers are little hard to figure out. You have to turn the shower knob all the way around! Figured this out on the last day after taking cold showers the other times LOL.

We were on the ocean side, site 23 which overlooks the beach. We pulled in to get a great view of the beach and ocean from our windshield. To check in, go to the ranger station on the side away from the beach. Did a drive by check in and had to do a U turn to go back across Hwy A1A to the beach campground. At check in they give you the gate code. Be careful going out of the beach campground as the gate opens towards you. Power and water pedestal is well maintained.
Campground road is dirt, if it rains it becomes one big mud puddle. Campsites are a little close together but you are close to the ocean. Some sites have plants separating them from the next site. Bathrooms and showers are good and kept clean. The beach side has a one lane dump station.
For laundry, each side has two washers and one dryer in the bath house. On the beach side, both washers were out of order.
We visited the river side campground. If you don't care about being close to the ocean or beach, stay here. Sites are spaced out, some with concrete pads.
Very little highway noise even though you are close to the road, crashing waves drown out any road noise.
AT&T cell service was excellent, RSRP in the -70 range. Some HDTV channels came in.
