The pools are amazing! One is around 100, the middle is around 106 and the last pool there is no swimming as it’s about 127! Contrary to other reviews there was NO moss or slime on the bottoms as some mentioned. They clean the pools twice a month and drain them completely to do so. The water flows at 1.3Mil gal/24 hr so it’s constantly changing . Some algae will build up due to the minerals in the water a little in places but it’s minimal. Pools are open from 7am to 9 pm. A family friendly, family owned park feel which we liked.
RV Space was level and they are putting in more upgrades.
All services worked and were right where they should be. The owner was extremely welcoming and nice to chat with. We look forward to coming back soon. Did I mention the hot springs right on site???
We visited the state park and walked around with our dogs. Beautiful park with ponds and one with huge koi. Amazing stop if in The area or even a great stop if you are anywhere in WY!

I called and made a reservation. Person on the phone understood our needs. When we got there site was unacceptable. It was too short. He then told us to park wherever we wanted. I believe it’s been quite awhile since the hot pool had been cleaned. Bottom was hard to walk because of the slime.

You get a little bit of road noise not bad at all. A train track is next to the property only heard one train in the morning.
I would definitely stay here again, if in the area. We would have stayed longer than one night if we had cell reception or the campground Wi-Fi worked.

Fairly noisy with road noise and an early morning train. All that said, I’d probably stay again for the soak in the pools.

OMG the pools are amazing. I love a nice warm pool and this has 2 of them. You need to wear swimming shoes because the cooler pool has moss. Not a big deal to me it's a natural spring. I also brought pool noodles to just float around. You can't have glass around the pools but you can have anything else. There are also showers, bathrooms and a laundry next to the pools. No to hardly any cell service, and the WiFi is on and off or slow. But then again I came to get away and relax so no cell service or WiFi doesn't bother me a bit. I deferentially will stay here again.

We decided to camp here based on the proximity to our trip to Teton National Park. When I called the park in January they took my reservation request with just a name. There was no deposit required at that time. A few weeks before our trip I received a call to verify that we would be coming as reserved which I confirmed. When we got to the park there was no record of our reservation. The park was crowded but I am not sure if it was the pandemic or the high gas prices, there were a few sites still available thankfully. This park is very old and the water and electric were also old. The sites were so close that I was not comfortable starting a fire in the pit provided. The hot spring pools were very nice...thankfully we both bought water shoes before we got there because the algae was plentiful. The showers and toilets were very poor and you had to pay for the showers. We found that most of the people that stay here were locals( within a couple of hours) from the area. The midnight train was VERY loud but we actually appreciate the train noise. We were glad we stayed here to be able to go into the pools but would not likely do this again.

I really enjoyed staying in this park. It's a bit old and in need of updating. As other have said, the sites are really tight. My 20' Rockwood Mini has a big slide, and careful and repeated positioning was necessary to avoid the picnic tables and other camper site. BUT, the management is really realIy nice. Make sure you state that you want full hookups - not all sites have sewer. I initially booked 2 nights, and liked it so much I booked 2 more. The hot springs there are wonderful. It's all open air, and at night you are under the sky with views of nearby buttes. Yes, there's a train track with active trains right next to the campground, so you will get trains occasionally. And there is Route 20 noise as well. But the soaks are worth it. All the other campers were really friendly too. Very poor Verizon and ATT. Their wifi was mostly ok but not the best. Overall, great place to stay.

We stayed here two nights in July, so the weather was really hot. We were thankful to be able to hook up to electricity and use our ac!
Pros:
We had a pull-through site.
We were escorted to our site and given helpful information for setting up.
Great location for visiting the area -- especially check out Legend Rock State Petroglyph Site and Wyoming Dinosaur Center.
Beautiful surroundings.
Thermal pool was very relaxing to head to in the evenings.
Water, electricity, and in-site dump worked great.
Small laundry facility, though we didn't use it.
Cons:
Air stank mildly-to-somewhat of sulphur, but that's to be expected with such a large thermal pool within the campground.
Thermal pool bottom was pretty dirty and slimy. Surface of water wasn't great either.
Sites were very close together.
Our site was red dirt, so if it had rained, it might have become pretty gummy, clumpy, or slick.
I'd read prior reviews before we reserved at this campground, so we brought lake shoes for use in the thermal pool. The trains either didn't come through very often or we were sleeping or we were off-site -- they weren't a bother to us. My husband had insisted he wanted to try this campground because of the thermal pool; I'm glad we did. We'd go back.
