Overall Rating

Now before you head to Barkerville, do your homework. There are 3 campgrounds within Barkerville - Forest Rose, Lowhee and Government Hill. Forest Rose (we stayed here) was suitable for large rigs, had back in and pull thru's, pay showers and a new adventure playground. Can't speak for the other campgrounds but I believe that Lowhee has full hookups and Government is for smaller rigs and tents. You pick your spot and then you go to the Barkerville Welcome Centre to pay. What an experience - loved it! No cell coverage. Outside kennels available for rent at Barkerville for fidos comfort.
