Absolutely one of the best camp sites I've had. Actually stayed in 2 separate ones but close to each other right on the north or what they call the East rim locally i guess. There's about 20 plus sites along the path attached. As you close to the end, the few (8) rim sites are not particularly level but my 30' did fine with blocks. The Absolutely best views to wake up to in the morning. Go 30 ft over and your off a cliff. At the end stay to the right for rim sites at "y". There are a number on the left side of y for larger vehicles. The branch on the left only had 3/4 sites. Warning ⚠️ do not go to the end of the right branch or you'll need a tow truck. It's very steep and you'll get high centered unless your an awesome high clearance vehicle. Also has a number of small roads I hiked which puts you in the middle of a solitude ring of trees with privacy. Was 25 minutes/6.8 miles off main road on at this time really well groomed dirt roads with occasional rocky patches. Bee's and a some gnats can be an issue at some sites. I was either indoors or hiking.

The two of us usually camp with a single 3-person tent, but we brought my nephew along with us. So we had our 3-person tent and a 1-person tent for him. So we got to the location through a couple miles of bumpy dirt roads in our compact SUV and had no problems at all. There were tons of spots with beautiful views into Marble Canyon/ Grand Canyon. We picked a good spot and set up.
Overnight, it was windy. And I mean so windy that our tents were swaying all night. So it didn't make for the best sleeping, but it was definitely memorable! I'm not sure if this is because of the season (early June) when the days are hot and the nights are still a little bit cooler. The hot air in the canyon and the colder temps above mix at night and they create wind. And boy, did they ever. So this may not be the best place for a tent -- unless you like an adventure!
The quietness of the spot itself couldn't be beat, the "noise" rating of 3 was because of the wind.

You have to drive past the parking for trailhead down about another 1 /2 mile, on the left there were 2 sites, we could have gone further to a site on the ledge, you do have to be careful about going further with big rig, limited area to turn around., you can go to trailhead parking and turn around, go scout out further down. This was one of rhe quietest spots we had in a month of travel. No cell service until you get down to the ledge, which was OK for us, we took ATV down to check emails and messages.

Me and my girlfriend stayed here after visiting the Grand Canyon and it is right before the north rim pay center so this was a nice free spot not in the actual national park the road up is a little challenging to navigate since cell service drops off and the elevation made my car struggle a bit since it wasn’t used to be up so high. This place was very beautiful but the camp sites are near the steep edge into the Grand Canyon. I wouldn’t suggest bringing small children because the edge was so near about 10 feet from where I parked my car. Very good place the stars at night were amazing.

All along FS 611 there are little spur roads (611A, 611Y, etc) that branch off of FS 611. This main road is dusty, so try to find something that can get you off this main road. We found a great spot before the pin listed here. After the turnoff for FR 610 and the signage, we took the first left onto FS 611A. You will find several backin spots or continue as we did, to a wide open spot a bit further. We ended up blocking the road sort of,the road has trees down so no one could go further if they wanted to.
Those East Rim sites (about 8 or so) are pretty amazing if you can get one. I suggest you scout first, there is not a lot of room to turn around out there. The road is pretty good, but dusty. Most rim sites are not level, and not really intended for big rigs. There are sites to the left of the road that could accommodate some larger camping units. We probably would not take our 5th wheel there, camper yes though! Out on the rim there was cell service.
There are lots of OHV roads to explore. We suggest if you want to explore, download the app called AvenzaMaps. Then download the free Motor Vehicle Use Map, North Kaibab Ranger District, Kaibab National Forest. The map will work with your GPS on your phone even when there is no cell service.
There are lots of sites in the area on these Forest Service roads, it will depend on how adventurous you are.

I am giving "Access" only 3 stars because it is a 6 mile drive down a packed gravel road to get to spot 611W. We towed our 30' fifth wheel in averaging probably 10 mph or less. Most of the road is very good with a few spots that had slightly bigger "pot" holes to go through. I took a ride farther down the road with the truck and would not go farther than site 611V with a rig as big or bigger than ours. There is no place to turn around. Also, we drive a F350, so the ride is pretty stiff and the six miles out and back can really shake you up. If you take your time this site is easily accessible.
The entrance Grand Canyon NP is only a four mile drive once you hit 67. It was a great spot to easily access the park and enjoy a great relaxing view when you return.

Shaded by quaking aspens and pines, clean, well spaced, quiet sites. Best sites are near the end or top of the road (few miles deep), where you get vast canyon views.
The AZT crosses this road, which was a surprise and treat; a big plus for hikers.
There’s also a toilet at a parking area about a mile in from highway 67. It’ll be on your right.
Another precious find in the Arizona desert. Keep it secret; keep it safe.
