Very easy access to these campsites and we always come here when we want to camp but haven't planned anything because its always consistent.

We camped here one week into June, 2023, with our 32’ TT. The snow drifts on the road were still too big to get back to the spots further off the highway, so we camped in the first spot which is about 100 yards off the highway. The snow was melting fast but the huge muddy spot on the road would still limit access for larger RVs until the area dried out considerably.
Cell coverage was spotty, with no Verizon internet but occasional texts coming through. Highway noise was considerable, and melting snow made it muddy. Over 9000 feet elevation and unseasonably cool temps meant it was still very cold and even snowed here. The road is closed to all OHV/ATV but they still came by occasionally. The area further in is an old cinder quarry and is used by the locals as a dump site and a shooting range, and people came in to shoot twice while we were there. After four nights we moved east to a lower elevation campsite.
I would recommend this site as an overnight spot, but further in would be quieter except when people came to shoot.

As mentioned in a previous review, there are two levels in this area. We stayed in the upper area which is accessed by climbing a relatively steep, deeply rutted hill. We have an off-road trailer which made it up with no problem. However, I would not recommend the upper area for standard RVs. The lower level is easily accessed, but might be challenging for larger rigs.
The campground is located about 5 minutes from Duck Creek Village, about 15 minutes from Cedar Breaks, and about 30 minutes from Brian Head.
I took one star off for noise because from most areas of the campground, you can hear the noise from hwy 14. It's not terrible, but it does detract from the serenity of the area.

This is right across from the main turnoff to Navajo Lake. When you pull in to the north, there are a couple of single spots right by the road with fire rings. As you round the corner to the right, the area opens up into a large flat area with room for multiple rigs. If you continue back, there are a number of cool dispersed spots still on the lower level with fire rings and trees offering some shade and privacy. There is an upper level as well but suited mostly for tent camping and very reliable four-wheel drive. Spotty cell service on the lower level only.
