Fond du Lac Campground

Overall, it was an ok place to stay. Positive was it had sites right on the river. Negatives were if it rained, this campground became the land of 10,000 puddles! A few loads of gravel would solve this problem but unfortunately they have not did that yet so trying to stay out of the mud and puddles was very challenging! Sites were also very close to each other and the bathrooms, tho clean, only had one toilet and 2 showers for the whole campground. There are a few random outhouses around tho. Campfire wood was always quite bare and what they did have was more like scraps than firewood! Overall, the camphosts didn't seem to put in much effort to make sure you had an enjoyable stay.

Overall, ok place to stay as long as it doesn't rain! The campground turns into the land of 10,000 ponds/mud holes once rain is involved. Some truck loads of gravel would solve this problem but unfortunately they haven't did this yet. Bathroom/shower facilities are ok but not enough. Only one toilet and 2 showers for the whole campground although there are a few outhouses here and there. The campground host is hard to find and the firewood supply is limited and small pieces.
