Sites are a gravel pad with you and another RV sharing it where front of one vehicle faces one way while other faces the opposite direction. Small green lawn separates each gravel pad pair in that typical right-hand access RVs would face the grass and not their gravel pad partner. Gravel pad was a bit hazardous with the ability to roll your ankle if you’re not sure footed. Location is sandwiched between farmland for crops and farmland for sheep. SpaceX testing facility is 20 miles away where a low rumble can be heard when rocket engine is firing. Full hookups worked well but site was hot where sapling trees in middle of small green lawn needs a decade or two to make them somewhat shady.
Check-in was easy…just a text message with site rules reminder. Didn’t try the laundry but walked around with the dogs and thought the layout was decent. Has good starlink coverage.
Proximity to Waco was nice where the famous Fixer Upper businesses aren’t a far drive. Access road to RV campground needs serious work. Might as well add some dirt burms to it as it felt like an off-road adventure to the main entrance (and we have a baja Jayco).

It's interesting how some parks provide too much communication and others minimal! After booking this reservation and receiving a confirmation email, that was the last communication of any form with the property/management. Upon arrival, we went to the office - which was closed - so, we decided to just go to the spot we reserved. We are assuming no site changes. The property itself is really pretty and peaceful. We would stay here again. My husband did note that he got 2000 steps just trying to locate a garbage can/dumpster! Ha! Owell, it’s all good. We enjoyed the overnight stay.

This was just quick stop-over. Pull through was long, had to un-hook the Jeep so we could connect to power, water & sewage since they are at the far back of the site. Site was gravel and fairly level, clean and quiet. No frills here (no picnic table, fire ring, patio) just a place to park.

Flat Creek was a quiet campground. The sites and campground are well maintained. The only downside is that the bathrooms are a pretty good walk from some of the sites down towards the front. Otherwise this little campground is the perfect place to stop if you’re visiting Magnolia or just driving through. It’s close to pretty much everything. The creek is really neat and we loved seeing the sheep on the other side of the creek.
Would stay here again for sure! :)

We did look out on a flock of sheep grazing which was very relaxing but felt like we didn’t get very much for the money. Most of the people camping there lived there. And I think the others were all going to the magnolia silos.

One shower for men and one for women, laundry room was clean but didn’t use either. Very cute common area with great deck overlooking a small river. Goats and donkeys for a view and can feed them; fun for kids! Two big fishing ponds; caught 3 small bass. Quiet and neighbors very friendly. Easy check in process. I’ll be back!

Level sites with grass areas in between each site. It's a family operated business that's shares their farm with travelers. It's very quiet and they have a catch in release fishing area. Bathrooms and laundry are clean. Single stall shower. We really enjoyed our night there! I gave 4 stars for sure quality only because you really have no privacy. Sites are only separated by grassy areas.
