“Great free campground”

Overall Rating

Cute small campground with pit toilet available. No water. Beautiful view of the stars and symphony of creatures during entire stay. Stayed in late May and it was a bit muddy but still fine for tenting.

Overall Rating

Stopped here for the night. Had a beautiful site on the edge of an oxbow of the Yellowstone River. Easy pull in, pull out sites of good size. Fire pit and grate. Very clean privy, well stocked with TP. Could hear the train horns in the early morning with coyotes howling at them!! Otherwise very quiet - we were the only ones there.
