The campground is easy enough to get to, but I didn't stay. What I saw driving in was not the lake but LOTs of campers crammed in, kids and laundry. We stayed here one night in May 2018 and will come back if we can. I have to say that those who like fancy camping with water, electricity, flash toilets, cable, shower, wi-fi ect. - will be really upset as there is nothing of the above. This is what you get for $14, if you like nature disregarding comfort - this is for you. Getting to... more

I have to say that those who like fancy camping with water, electricity, flash toilets, cable, shower, wi-fi ect. - will be really upset as there is nothing of the above. This is what you get for $14, if you like nature disregarding comfort - this is for you. Getting to the site from the main road is about half-kilometre drive on unpaved, steep and bumpy road. Host is nice hard-working lady.
Pros:
- inexpensive
- almost every site has access to water
- clean pit toilets
- not crowded
- privacy
- 3 bars stable 4G LTE Telus cellular signal
Cons:
- very bumpy access road
- limited space for big rigs
- no amenities i described above
Stan would stay here again

This is a real gem in the Okanagan Valley! There are 50 sites, but probably only 5 can accomodate big rigs (35 feet). This is a real gem in the Okanagan Valley! There are 50 sites, but probably only 5 can accomodate big rigs (35 feet). Note that the turnout to get into the campground at the boat launch is pretty tight (we did it with our 35 feet long bus + Westfalia, but you might want to unhook before coming down the campground road). The camp host suggested we back up to our site (2) from the boat launch (it worked great, but you have to be comfortable driving your big rig). Anyways, scout it out first! But it's so quiet and beautiful (and cheap!), it's well worth the hassle!
There is no potable water. Out houses only and a boat launch. Almost each site has a tiny private beach.
**Note that the access road from Kelowna is closed at least till July 2017, so you need to go around the lake and come down from Vernon on the west side of the lake.
**Also note that we have great BELL coverage here (3 bars LTE), but I cannot indicate it in the Coverage section since BELL isn't in there!
Road it up would stay here again
