The colder months tend to bring less of a party crowd, leading to a relaxing environment. It isn’t the most private camp sites and it is still is busy. The market was well stocked and fair priced. As a non member; overall, I would rate it a rather enjoyable stay.

The camper next to our site played music extremely load and sites are crammed on top of each other. The sales office refused to give me a tour of the campsite because my spouse was not present and not feeling well. The security staff did nothing about the noise and it was a free for all. Would have given it a 2 star but did not have to pay for stay.

We stayed for free in exchange for hearing their membership pitch. The woman was very nice but based on the condition of this park, I wouldn’t spend 10-12g for stays like this. There was no T-mobile service and non-existent Wi-Fi at our site. There were big potholes filled with water that we had to drive through ( hadn’t rained in over a week). Bathrooms and showers were old and dirty. The pluses were the food: Friday night fish fry for $8, champagne breakfast for $6, and a nice Tiki bar where we got to see some football playoff games. Of course we were jammed in close, unlike state and county parks. There were things for kids to do, like an arcade, small pool and mini-golf. If they want to sell memberships they should move the sales pitch to a nicer park.

We stayed using our RPI membership. Was lucky to get a 50 amp site that was very spacious. Great heated pools. The kids zone and mini golf were great hits. Staff was courteous and friendly. Poor to zero T-Mobile and Sprint service. Verizon worked ok.

Our experience,
Family was staying here, called, they offered our 5 night stay comped if we sit through their resort membership presentation. Cool, we are about to full time RV, and wanted to hear their pitch, and happy to do so.
Came in late I. The evening, security guys were awesome at the gate, friendly, escorted us to our spot (Gravel lot, packed in tight, a little rough, not what I would set someone up in if I was trying to get them to buy a membership).
1. 30 amp, we requested 50, 30 kept tripping anytime we turned something new on.
2. Water faucet leaking.
3. Cable doesn’t work.
4. Water pressure was low.
5. Neighbors were friendly, they have to be, you are on top of each other.
6. Tank dump was at the back of spot, I had to move the trailer to get the hose to reach, so I was over into the spot behind me.
7. Quite, I will give them 5 stars for quite, awesome security guys enforcement!
The “tour”... we were given a time to stop by the “sales” office, and I went be when they opened to move my time due to a family event. The desk immediately got pissy about it. Not a first positive impression of you are asking fir my money, but they were able to move it, and the next office guys was friendly and cool.
Our “sales” guy...
1. Never get a membership here, just saying.
2. He wouldn’t answer our questions with a straight answer.
3. The packages are for their resorts, but only 1 is on the water and a few you can’t even take your trailer too, which were the ones we would want to use.
Gold, 10k, silver, 12k platinum 13k plus annual $500 and additional coast to coast $210 (plus cost $25-35 a night)
So this wasn’t going to work for us, their “resorts” aren’t close to use and we can’t stay in our trailer at 4 of them???
We asked to see pictures of the cabins, other resorts and he got pissy and tried to change topics.
We said our concerns were the resorts not being in our area, and not seeing the other “resorts” before paying a lot of money. He got pist, grabbed all the papers and asked us to leave, and walked us out the back door.
I will never stay or even consider giving them our money now based on his behavior.
Get your free stay and tell them to pack sand....

This place has To be one of the worst RV parks. After reserving a spot weeks prior I had informed the person on the phone that my RV is 50 amp. After driving 5 hours and getting to the place the lady at the gate informed me they do not have 50 amp and that I would have to dog bone down to 30. With almost the same breath she told me if I don't want to do that I could go find aother RV park to stay at. Then to find out that I was to attend a 90min "timeshare" Type of membership pitch . I was Not told that when I called.
There was another employee there that looked at me and said "come follow me ill find you a spot" it was Thanksgiving holiday and I didn't think I would be able to find another RV park that would have availabilities. So I did end up staying. 😏
The spots are very tight, The sewer lines are positioned to the front. I ended up having to run 40' of hose. The smell of sewer (methane) in the air was so bad I had to close all the windows in my rig, witch didn't make it go away. No Internet.
You would think if they wanted to sell something to somebody they would not put them in the back row where it smelled like sewer for the whole weekend. Actually ended up pulling out on Friday I just couldn't take the smell anymore. The only reason I gave it one star was because of the employee that Got me set up. The best he can.

I don't know who says they got cell service out there but we have T-mobile and had to drive about 3 miles away to get service. So without cell service you have to rely on WiFI. No dice. You have to pay $3/day to get wifi at your spot. I could handle this if you actually got wifi for your 3 bucks. We had to walk outside of our RV and hold the phone up just to get the connection which would go away as soon as you moved an inch. They do have wifi down in bar restuarant area that was free and pretty fast. We would take turns going down there to get our wifi fix. Most of the staff was pretty friendly. If you are concerned with Covid-19... DON'T GO HERE. My family and I were the only ones who wore masks and people would just approach you without masks and didn't seem to care.

Stayed three nights at the Emerald Cove Resort in Earp, California using our Resort Parks International (RPI) Preferred Gold Membership. Level gravel campsites on or near the Colorado River and an upbeat resort vibe greeted us upon arrival. Hot tub, pool, an active Tiki Bar with happy hour, a general store, laundry, and a reasonably priced hot breakfast at the activity hall contributed to the resort atmosphere. AT&T cellular service clocked in at 64.2 Mbps download speed and 20.1 Mbps upload speed. Verizon cellular service clocked in at 4.21 Mbps download speed and .04 Mbps upload speed. Free useable WiFi is provided in the activity hall and clocked in at 6.44 Mbps download speed and 2.84 Mbps upload speed. A visit to Lake Havasu and it’s London Bridge was an easy day trip from Emerald Cove via the scenic Parker Dam Road and then over the Parker Dam to Arizona Route 95. The Bill Williams River National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center is also along this route and worthy of a stop to take in the stunning water and mountain views. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Emerald Cove Resort.
