When we were here they had them trimmed pretty well for height. The road in was actually more nerve racking! The beach side is definitely more open than the Live Oak area. We stayed in Live Oak with our 40 ft fifth wheel and didn't have any problems with clearance. The loops were narrow (only about 1 foot of clearance at times!), but manageable.
