“Nice, Secluded Campground”

So first, let me start by saying a couple things. To begin, we did not actually stay here. Also, the campground is currently closed. The sign says until further notice, but the ranger we talked to said if all goes as planned, they should be open in the next few weeks. This is a state forest campground and is currently closed due to Covid-19.
That said, since the campground was closed, we got the opportunity to walk through and take as many pictures as we liked and it wouldn’t interfere with other campers.
This is a very remote and secluded campground. The sites are spacious. Although there are no services in the campground (primitive camping), several of the sites seem like the would be good for solar. Generators are not permitted in the campground.
T-mobile service is spotty at best. We did not have our hotspot with us, so I cannot confirm if there is Verizon service.
Although there is no dump-station on site, this campground is one of three in the 65,000 acre state forest. Per the ranger, guest that stay in this campground may use the dump-station at one of the others in the forest. There are two very nice, well maintained vault toilets on the site. The campground also has a hand pump for water.
Overall, this a very nice, well maintained, secluded campground. If you’re looking for a relaxing place to get away from it all, this is definitely the place for you.
tmags1166 would stay here again
