This is just basically a large field with gravel roads and sites, but it was convenient for my stopover. There are a few back in sites that will provide shade on a hot day and big enough for my trailer and truck not to unhook. This is just basically a large field with gravel roads and sites, but it was convenient for my stopover. There are a few back in sites that will provide shade on a hot day and big enough for my trailer and truck not to unhook. When you get to the park, just self-register at the cabin that sits near the entrance. If I remember correctly, they only take cash or check, no credit cards. There is a driving range also but I didn't use it so can attest to its usefulness. The owners have a very friendly big, big puppy that loved to play with Q-dog in the large grassy field.
They have remodeled private showers, but I believe only 2, yes 2 in total. So if it was real crowded might be an issue but not during my stay.
NOTE: This is now called Earp & James Hitching Post RV Park.
