Eagle Ridge is a short drive off the freeway, so you don’t hear any of the semi trucks going by. So quiet & peaceful that the Robins woke us up in the morning.
I took a quick walk at dusk and captured a few pictures of the GORGEOUS property and surroundings (verdant countryside covered in fields of corn and something dark green and leafy). Inadequate to convey just how pretty and peaceful this place is.
If you have a small RV and only need water and electric, ask for space 27. It’s right on the lake, and absolutely the most beautiful site I have ever seen.
It was too late to walk the trail around the lake (catch and release fishing and a paddle boat!), and the pool closes at 8, so we’ll have to come back another time.
Great place for a family gathering or a small, rally with the covered pavilion.
Excellent clean power, strong wi-fi, good water pressure, clean showers and bathrooms. Small store stocks those things we always forget.
Wish we could’ve stayed a couple more days, so we could go see the Bison at the nearby nature conservancy.

There was only one negative about our stay...the laundry room wasn't available. Big bummer, as the laundromat in Bethany is rather junky and more than 10 miles away.
BUT...We still give this park 5 stars. This time of year it wasn't full, so it was very quiet (it was also Easter week, so...). There are no big campground lights to ruin the beautiful night sky, the grounds are extremely well-kept, the sites are plenty long, and the surrounding farm land makes for some very pretty sunsets.
The shower rooms are neat and clean, with 2 spacious showers and soft water. Each site has a really nice picnic table and fire ring. There is firewood to purchase and they'll drop it at your site. Charcoal grills are allowed, which hasn't been the case in most of the RV parks we've been to between Kansas and New Mexico. Hook ups worked perfectly, and the water pressure was good!
There's a beautiful new fishing dock on the property's catch-and-release pond, and a paddle boat was right next to it, just waiting to be used. Went to town, bought fishing gear (ours is all in storage in MN), and put that paddle boat to use. The pond is surprisingly big, parts of it are probably 5-6 feet deep, and the bass are hungry. We caught so many fish!!!!
Marty and Katy are doing a fantastic job of making this a great campground! It feels very homey. It was hard to leave at the end of our reserved week. This little gem is on our short list of "let's stay here again" parks!

It is close enough to be just a few minutes to get back on the interstate. Our site was level and the park is clearly well taken care of. Additionally, the site was extremely long with plenty of room for our big rig that was towing. Owners live on site and they are super friendly and helpful. We will absolutely keep this park on our list of excellent parks.

We booked this for an overnight stay on our way to Branson. It’s a nice little mom-and-pop campground, good for an overnight stay. We got there at sunset, and were greeted by the owners, who were very nice. The campground was pretty empty, so they gave us our choice of sites for the night. Some of the sites didn’t appear to be very level, which the owners actually called our attention to. There was a bit of interstate noise, and the campground is right off a gravel road, which also has some local truck traffic. The campground is a bit off the beaten path. Apparently the main attraction in the nearby town of Eagleville is the “Welcome to Missouri” sign, so there’s not much to do right there. We would stay there again.

Friendly, helpful staff. They allowed us to change the date of our reservation after a change in our schedule. There is a lot of room. Laundry, swimming pool, playground, fishing pond (catch and release). Well-manicured grounds.

Great campground. Plenty of room for my 42 foot 5th wheel. I did not have to unhook. Owners are very friendly. The pool looked very clean however we did not use it. Short drive from I35.

We were skunked at Walnut Woods State Park. Looking at options, we saw the positive ratings for Eagle Ridge. We called and reserved over the phone. We were greeted by the Harrises and overall had a good experience. Site was gravel, pretty level and the park was very quiet. Highly recommended.

We arrived almost dark and left 14 hrs later so not much to report. Easy to find. Not bad to get around to the spot they led us to. There were only a couple hunting parties and us there on a cold November night. The sites are hard ground. Ours was nice and even. Early November, no recent rain so no mud problem. Water hookup could use some care; electric was 50 amp and worked fine. Husband didn't use any facilities. I checked out the ladies shower/restroom. Looks almost done with some renovation and it should be very, very nice--kind of shabby sheek? Roomy shower--clean.
The laundry room had 2 new washers and 2 dryers--didn't use. Personal touches. At night I saw 1 "long timer" RV next to us. Very pleasant owner that I dealt with. $36 seems steep to park and use water and electricity, but it was soooo cold, we just wanted to ge to bed! Oh, we were under a big oak tree so there was intermittent rain of acorns. Glad we had added the slide out awning. I'm not sure what kind of coverage I have but I tried theirs and it was honestly VERY GOOD! I streamed a whole Netflix movie off of it, seriously! That's rare.
