“Great For An Overnight”

This easy stop in Eads was perfect for an overnight stay on our trip. It is essentially a parking lot with basic amenities, including a restroom, a grassy area, and a picnic table. “LOTS Of Truck Traffic ”

Overall Rating

The trucks roll past here continuously though it dies down some overnight but not completely. It is a 40 mph zone but still very loud. If we could have found another option we would have left. “Quiet Little Town With History”

We called the town office a few days ahead of time and the lady who answered encouraged us to stay the night. There is a donation box for anyone who uses the facility, which pays to keep the restrooms clean and stocked. This park/rest area is where cross country bicycle riders stay the night. I just spoke to the restroom attendant. He asked if we were just staying one night. I said yes. He said no problem park anywhere you want. There is a donation pedestal in front of the restroom.
