This was a rustic/primitive camping, mostly small units or tents, Hilly terrain, leveling can be challenging. Parking on grass near a gravel loop. Pit Toilets, two electric posts (15-30amp only) We dry camped to have time to explore the Dutton Cave Park, the spring fed creek was 57 degrees in late July and is stocked during the spring with native Brook Trout by the state of Iowa DNR. No potable water is available in the park, Fill up before you come. Please check out the Dutton Cave Park on the Fayette County Web Site for more information. The Cave is not currently open for exploration because of White Nose Syndrome. Beautiful park and area. Workers we encountered were pleasant and helpful. $5 Boondocking, $10 electric.
