Awesome views of the mountains to the SW and NE.

However, there were so many other beautiful flowers in bloom - a regular prairie. This park is park of a marina, so I thought there would be alot of noise, but not so. It was quiet & peaceful. The sunsets were stunning - the sites are well spaced - and you have the amenities you need, including a laundry room. It is about 30 minutes along a curvy road to Steamboat Springs. There is also a General store & Post Office in Clark - about 1/2 way to Steamboat Springs.

There is no electricity or water on this loop; there are 2 vault toilets in this area. There are a couple of faucets available where you can fill up containers. Pay showers & flush toilets are available near the cabins.
Beautiful tent sites away from the pop-up/trailer sites. Pretty windy during the afternoon, but the wind died down right around sunset.
You can't go wrong with any sites on this loop!

We live about 12 miles away, and we head up to Steamboat Lake frequently. At this point in the year (May 20), only the Dutch Hill Campground is open. We live about 12 miles away, and we head up to Steamboat Lake frequently. At this point in the year (May 20), only the Dutch Hill Campground is open. We stayed at site 134, and would recommend 129, 130, 131, 132, and 134. They are on the outside of a loop that backs up to the lake. I guess you could say they are lakefront, but the campground is up on a bluff so it's a very steep hike down. Beautiful views from all of the campsites. There is electric but no water at the sites. We always carry our own water, so no worries there. In the past, we've been at the Sunrise Vista Campground, which has many sites with beautiful views, but as I remember only a few have electric.
There are some nice hiking trails, but really the lake is the attraction. There's a marina and a swim beach for the summer, and we bring our sailboat and kayaks up frequently. There's a nice loop hiking trail just about a mile with a historical site at the main building (to which there is not a trail). That building is about 2 miles away, but worth the drive.
The campsites are well maintained and clean. Bring firewood only from Colorado, and know that there is a $7 day use fee you'll have to pay also if you don't have a Colorado State Parks Pass ($70/year).
In the winter, you can RV or trailer camp in the marina parking lot, where there are electric hookups. It's not so beautiful to camp in a parking lot, but if you do, you'll have access to groomed Nordic trails, snowmobiling, and ice fishing,
We had 5 bars of Verizon cell service, and no trouble using it as a hotspot. I have no idea if it was 3G or 4G.
