Campground host was great, everything was clean, mowed and trimmed, met us shortly after picking spot and registered us in person. The back in space for our 26 foot RV had been raked and he had repainted the picnic table the day before. Will be back to stay the next summer without hesitation.

This is a beautiful spot on the Poudre river. We had the 3rd spot as you go left into the campground. The spot was level and easily fit our 5th wheel and truck. There is no cell service on t-mobil. Access is easy even with the curves in the canyon. Lots of hiking close by. Plus fishing.

We were taking CO-14 across the Rockies and wanted to be able to stop for the night. I had checked the US Forestry Service campground listing and found this one that does not take reservations and indicated that it was big-rig friendly - from their website: "This campground is well-suited for larger RVs due to the highway access, paved interior road, and longer parking spurs." We found it to be very nice - the camp host, Robert, was very welcoming, met us right away and recommended a site that we would be able to fit into. There is a path along the river that is very pleasant for walking - it has benches in a couple of places so you can just sit and enjoy the river.
There is no cellular access - our Verizon phones showed one bar, but it was not usable, even with a booster.

This is one of the few forest service campgrounds along the Cache la Poudre that does not take reservations. There are some very nice sites right along the scenic river, and we were lucky enough to get one. Some have trees for shade but ours didn't. The only downside is that the campground is sandwiched in between the river and Hwy 14, although at night there is little traffic and the sound of the rushing river drowns out some of the noise.
There are clean vault toilets, unthreaded water spigots, and trash dumpsters, but no dump station. The road and sites are paved.
We would have stayed longer but it was getting up into the mid-80s (in mid-June), we had no cell or internet (the entire canyon is a dead zone), and there wasn't much to do in the area, other than a steep hiking trail a couple miles up the road at Mountain Park Campground.
