Overall Rating
Fairly busy highway right along campground. Cars passed regularly, into the evening.
Campground wasn’t busy while we were there (Sunday-Monday) but it looks like it gets heavy use (lots of trash).
Features: creek & swimming hole, fire pits, tables, trash bins, bbqs, pit toilets. Didn’t notice water source other than creek.

We stayed two nights with 2 sites, numbers 3 and 4 I think. It was a blast. Nice sites, easy to register and pay the fee. Each site has a nice picnic table a safe fire ring, not too close to any trees or foliage to be any kind of a fire danger. The sites were clean and no garbage anywhere. We stayed two nights with 2 sites, numbers 3 and 4 I think. It was a blast. Nice sites, easy to register and pay the fee. Each site has a nice picnic table a safe fire ring, not too close to any trees or foliage to be any kind of a fire danger. The sites were clean and no garbage anywhere. It is close to hwy 20, so there is some daytime road noise, but fairly quiet at night. The outhouses were clean with plenty of seat covers and toilet paper. We look forward to going again in two weeks. The sites are far enough apart to not annoy others. We brought our own firewood. You must bring your own water. No cell service for phone but could receive text messages.

17 sites but 3 unavailable due to covid spacing. No water, pit toilets. No discounts. Not far from Willits and Fort Bragg. Other CG (zero) along the road closer to fort Bragg was closed for repairs till the end of October. Bought fresh tuna right off the boat Shirley in the harbor. Sites could accommodate big rigs. Close to the highway but few cars after 10PM
