The RV park is small, about 20 spots. The spots are fairly level, and the hook-ups are well located. The WiFi is non-existent, and the shower room/laundry room is okay, but nothing spectacular. Overall, it is a quiet campground, and the employees are friendly. It has great access to the interstate and is easy to get to most attractions in the area.

We were evacuated from Fort Pickens due to potential flooding & tornado watch … we wanted to stay somewhere inland … easy last minute booking system for this park. We were evacuated from Fort Pickens due to potential flooding & tornado watch … we wanted to stay somewhere inland … easy last minute booking system for this park. Very thorough & informative confirmation email immediately. Very impressive administration for such a small park.
Check in was easy even tho the office was closed. We just called the posted #. Wifi was excellent! Laundry & bathhouse was very clean & homey. Looked recently updated.
The campground itself is very small & old, and while u can see some improvements happening, most of the trailers in the park have seen better days … some mixed breed dogs … on leash … were out and when we walked by they looked & acted like they were hungry & we were their dinner. Other than that, very quiet with some road noise.
I hope the owners continue to make improvements cause they’re doing a great job. Easy access to all major routes & close to grocery & hardware stores.

We were in town visiting family. This was closest and cheapest with Good Sam. I think it's $40/nt without. There are cheap monthly rates. New owners have bought the two adjoining lots, so hopefully things will be better in the future. Our site, #12, had a new plastic lumber deck, but a longterm neighbor who would leave his dog chained ... more
We were in town visiting family. This was closest and cheapest with Good Sam. I think it's $40/nt without. There are cheap monthly rates. New owners have bought the two adjoining lots, so hopefully things will be better in the future. Our site, #12, had a new plastic lumber deck, but a longterm neighbor who would leave his dog chained up outside at odd hours to bark. Also there was a very bright security light, which we're not fans of. You can hear Pensacola Blvd and 9 Mile 24/7, but it's not annoying. Come in from the south on Entreiner as there is no curb cut off 9 Mile. Laundry ($1.50 ea) and shower area were clean but owners need to put a sign and a path. It's to the left of the pet cemetery. There's a cat hotel in the back corner and residents are feeding the stray cats. I'm also not a fan of RV parks with loose cats. The neighborhood is pretty rough but the RV park felt safe. I think the residents are looking out for each other. It was only a couple miles to the hike/bike trails at the University, which are pretty good, for Florida. I advise ordering groceries at Walmart, as it looked very crowded every time we went by (Covid). All the sites are off side back-in. James will help you back in. The power (50A ok with tester) and water were somewhat convenient but the sewer was very far back in the lot and covered in dirt. We didn't use it and just dumped at a rest area in Mississippi.
