We had camped at Dogwood Springs previously, but it was a few years ago and under different ownership, so an update seemed timely. Dogwood Springs offers an assortment of sites for all sizes of RV, along with tent sites and cabins. Our pull-through was large and level, and the utilities worked well during our stay. Verizon also worked great, and they also allowed us to receive packages. The park is quiet and close to just about anything you want to do in the area, climbing, hiking, and/or exploring the Buffalo River.
The new owners are incredibly kind, accommodating, and very knowledgeable about the area. We had a number of events that required us to change our arrival dates and departure dates, and the owners made that all very easy. They also pointed us toward dog friendly hikes and parks and recommended a great vet, when we needed it. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

I have a 40 ft motorhome with a Jeep in tow. You have to park on a upslope to check in and unhook your tow so you may want to unhook on level ground before arrival or it will take 2 people to unhook. Good electric, water and sewer. Nice sized sites for big rigs. Park is under new owners who are making improvements after years of neglect. We really enjoyed our stay and will stay here again for sure.

Disgusting, poorly managed, dangerous, and in general to be avoided. Sleep anywhere else.

New Owners, as in the day we arrived. Very welcoming and helpful though. Place is in the midst of getting updates. Smaller sites, but all the things you could want. $2 coin washer and dryer. It’s all clean!

The park is very well kept - grass cut, no garbage anywhere, pool well maintained, etc.
The park offers cabins (which are quaint and clean), RV / TT sites, and tent sites. A wonderful covered patio area is near the pool for guests to enjoy.
I cannot say enough about our positive experience at Dogwood Springs. My husband and I enjoyed the managers, Caleb & Jenn plus adorable little boy, so much. Very special fellowship time with them.
My husband and I highly recommend a stay - we will absolutely return to visit with them.

We've stayed at Dogwood Springs a few times over the last couple of years, and we hope/plan to return again. The park is cozy and larger than it seems on initial arrival, and our large rig fits in at least 2 of the many spots. The park has FHU, along with renting cabins and tent sites, and it's located in an ideal spot for approaching a number of great hikes, the Buffalo River, and a ton of notable rock climbing sites (9 miles from HCR). The campground is kept neat, and we enjoyed the swimming pool a few times on our recent stay. The owner of the park couldn't be more helpful, and I'll have to disagree entirely with another reviewer... we've experienced nothing but great hospitality and help while staying and this extends to the park pup, who is super friendly and as laid-back as a pup can be (and we travel with a high-energy dog ourselves).
While we didn't make use of them the park also offers showers, bathrooms, and laundry, and the other campers we spoke to seemed content.
