Question about Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort

What time is check in for the campsites? When we booked online it says 3:00. What i read online is 1:00 for campsites and 3:00 for cabins. I tried calling and couldn’t get anyone and chatting didn’t help. Anyone check in at 1:00 lately? Has it changed?

We have always been able to checking in the morning. If you request a specific site, you may need to wait if the is still occupied.

Official check in is at 3pm. But it is recommended to do online check in and use the Disney app. It will allow you to arrive early and if a site is available they will let you in. Example, of a site is available at 11am, they will let you in.

We were just there again last week and they were letting people check in as early as 9am. If the site is ready they will let you check in. If it's not and you want to get to the parks they have huge parking lots where you can leave your rig and enjoy the parks and they'll let you know when it's ready. Make sure you do the only line check in. That helps expedite the process.
