Great RV park, super clean, staff was very friendly and accommodating. Lots of amenities such as a huge family pool, great little store, playground and dog parks. We stayed a Sun-Sun, pretty empty during the week as expected. Nice pull through sites, they were huge and had a ton of open space at the spot. We had a big grass area for our spot next to the RV.
AT&T - two bars, Verizon - 2-3 bars with decent service. Wifi was average.
Only negatives were they didn't have the laundry facility completed yet (no biggie, went into town), and there wasn't any shade (expected, as the place is pretty new).
Super close to the Dinosaur Valley State park, and right across from Dinosaur World. Would definitely stay here again for the price.
No noise at night, super dark (great stargazing).

Very expensive for the area. Have a small pool, large one is being built.
There is 1 women's and 1 men's bathroom that is closed from 8pm to 9am. It is bad enough that this park is so expensive but to close the services, which you are paying for, is not acceptable.
We stay in Glen Rose a lot, would not recommend this campground. Would recommend Oakdale for a better priced campground, great location, and access to the facilities 24 hrs a day.

Stayed here October 1, 2020. The park was clean. Not much shade as it is new, but the grass was growing in. Made good use of the fire pit. It's a short walk to the State Park and the river.

When you first pull in and notice the lack of shade, you might be apprehensive. This is a new, family owned park, with newly planted young trees. However it is located near the banks of the Paluxie River - where there is a constant cool breeze. We stayed during a weekday and also the weekend. The owners planned activities during the weekend including a movie night, hay ride, pumpkin painting for kids, Kona Ice, and a S'mores evening. Wifi was excellent and the pool/hot tub was clean and refreshing. The onsite store has craft sodas from Dublin, TX and lots of yummy snacks. All sites are pull through, very level, and have new power, water, sewer hookups. You even have a private entrance to the nearby state park hiking system. Even though it filled up on the weekend, everyone was respectful of their neighbors. It was quite after 10pm. We would definitely stay here again.

Newbie here, and this was only our second trip but the park was great. The kids had a blast with the pool and play ground. The park offers a trail that connects directly to Dinosaur Valley State Park, a great place to take the kids hiking in hunt of dinosaur tracks and a nice swim in the river. Lots to explore. The sites are gravel but pretty even and all have full hookups with picnic tables and fire rings. Dinosaur World is just across the street and we were also able to spend some time in the town of Glen Rose. There’s a small little old fashioned soda shop the kids really enjoyed. The stars at night were amazing. Definitely recommend.

It was quiet, and a star gazers dream spot, galaxy clouds, I saw three planets simultaneously.

The park sits on a former hay field About 3 miles outside of the nice town of Glen Rose. It opened in February 2020 and there is still work to do but the owners have done a great job. Long and level sites, with FHUs, fire rings, and picnic tables. The store is well stocked and the pool and hot tub are very nice. The roads are crushed limestone and it can get dusty. We had ample AT&T and Verizon signals using our booster. The nights are dark and the skies are amazing. The park borders Dinosaur Valley SP and there is a connector trail to the SP’s miles of hiking trails and access to the preserved dinosaur footprints in the river bottom. Across the road is Dinosaur World (a tourist thing that is great tape kids). It’s about 25 minutes to Granbury and it’s great town square. We will definitely return.
