This RV park is put together really well with a lot of nice touches. The location right next to Dinosaur Valley State Park and across the street from Dinosaur World makes it ideal for a family destination. They provided a lot of activities for the kids and even had live music at night. We stayed there for Labor Day weekend and there was plenty to do to keep everyone busy. Two pools, a hot tub, petting zoo, large basketball area, etc. A Kona shaved ice truck even came through on a schedule. Sites were level and plenty large. My brother had his 45’ class A and Jeep in his sight with room to spare. Had my mother and older kids in two cabins and they loved them. Again, they are really well done and makes for a nice trip for a family with some that do not have RVs. Only thing that might be a negative for some was the lack of shade. Understandable being that it is a new park and the trees need time to develop, but just something to know. All the sites however are set up to where the afternoon sun will be on the backside of your RV and that helps. The staff was also great. We will make another trip there at a cooler time of year to do much more hiking than we got to do on this trip.

Family of 4 (2 teens) for Memorial Day weekend.
The location is perfect!! Resort is next to Dinosaur Valley State Park… like you can walk from one to the next. RV park has 2 pools plus river access. 3 miles from town with lots of dive restaurants.
Next time we will bring kayaks for the river.

We were here for just 1 night while taking care of some personal items. The park was clean, the sites were long, spacious and level. Very quiet and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and will return again when we have more time.

The park has several activities for young families, including a small bike/RC track that little kids love, a new fort, playground, and two pools (one is an adults only pool). There’s Paluxy River behind the park that’s great to visit and hang out at for a bit. Dinosaur World is walking distance and the RV park has access to Dinosaur State Park. Really a good spot. There is limited cell coverage. With TMo , we get some coverage intermittently but nothing strong enough to stream shows or for video conferencing. Starlink works flawlessly.

Dinosaur Valley RV Park is the best of all worlds. Run by Mark and Tina, alongside a friendly crew of very professional folks, this park is a hidden gem just outside Glen Rose, Texas. Family-friendly, dog-friendly, quiet, scenic, and just far enough off the beaten path to shake the city off your feet, it has everything you want in an RV park. The 40+ RV spots are level gravel (with concrete hidden under peat rock), come with full-service hooks ups (sewer, water, and stable 30/50 power), good Wi-Fi, and close reach to Cell Towers (Verizon & AT&T), each has their own grass area, picnic area, and firepit set up, and are ALL pull-thru for easy arrival and departure. Wide roads allow you to tow in just about any sized rig with plenty of room to park your tow vehicle at your stop. First, this is the perfect place to take your kids or grandkids. It includes a full-sized kids pool, Paluxy River access, a small BMX track, and the Dinosaur World museum and playground right next door. Additionally, the Dinosaur Valley State Park (DVSP) is right next door. Although they charge $7.00 for a day pass, the park borders the RV park and has a driving, biking, and hiking access (with a pass). See real dinosaur footprints that are still visible in the river-side rock or bring your fishing rod and try to catch a fish. Meanwhile, if you're a mountain biker (like me), DVSP has a roughly 15-mile well-marked, single-track and fire road, trail network that includes both easy and medium difficulty areas. Rock drops mixed with smooth dirt lines and challenging climbs make this a great place to lose yourself for an hour or two. A few of the trails are hiking-only but there is a big enough network to never have to ride the same trail twice. I think DVSP is one of the top 10 mountain biking trails in Texas and a must-ride location if you're passing through. Plus, most trail intersections include posted trail maps in case you get turned around. But wait! There's more! Dinosaur Valley RV Park includes a new coin-operated air-conditioned laundry room, 4 x bathroom bath house, and adults-only pool complete with a hot tub, and a trading post for odds and ins. For the kids, the park just added an animal farm that includes horses, cows, and goats (all shy but very friendly) and a real pioneer fort (still under construction). Don't have an RV? No problem! Dinosaur Valley RV Park has 4-5 cabins you can rent too. It really has everything you need to enjoy Texas outdoors with your family. All in all, Dinosaur Valley RV Park is a dreamland for any RV camper who is into hiking or mountain biking and the perfect setting for kids to get away from their screens and get some dirt on their feet. I would recommend this park over any RV park within 50 miles hands down. If you are looking for a great place outside of the Dallas/Fort Worth area (only 60-minutes away) consider Dinosaur Valley RV Park. You will enjoy every minute of it!

We stayed here Presidents’ Day weekend 2022. It was pretty full. Lots of families and kids running around having fun on bikes and scooters. Felt very safe didn’t have to lock everything down. Full hookups, level side to side, pea gravel, no trees, decent internet, decent cell signal, good water pressure, small dumpsters thoughtfully located around the park. Nice little dog park and playground. River access by hiking and state park entrance by hiking pay by QR code. Wildlife nearby we saw about six whitetail deer in the nearby field. Lots of sites big and small. We happen to see a lot of small retro campers there. There are cabins rentals and the pool facilities looked nice although it was too cold for us to use. The laundry facilities were not done yet when we stayed. Also it looks like they are adding amenities like a small cafe or bar and grill.

We live close and have always stayed in the park and kinda snubbed our nose at the people who were here. Well don't knock it til you try it. We went because the State Park had no availability and were surprised at the amount of activities that this park has. Also it has river access and we ventured down there after setting up the RV and watched the sun go down until the frogs started to sing to us. Then when we went up there was a great band playing. Kids loved the park. Next day went into the park and played in the river again. One thing that really stood out to me was that this park was so clean and no bugs. We are used to the 100s of flys at the State Park camping sites. Will definitely make this our new weekend getaway spot because you get the best of all worlds.
