In my opinion, Ohio does state parks very well. The prices are reasonable, they’re well designed and the facilities are typically in good order. Dillion State Park is no exception. It was a chilly night in the mid-20’s and I was very happy to have electricity. Note that the roads and campsites are paved. My site was dead level and also had a potable water spigot. The shower house was heated and had flush toilets, running water and nice, warm showers. The park has ample opportunities for recreation, from bike riding to boating. A very enjoyable stay; I would certainly return to this campground!

Campsites seemed adequate, water fill wasn't obvious but I was there in the off-season. Very quite and off the beaten path

We stayed Sunday through Wednesday. Sites are back in, paved, and spacious. Facilities are dated but we’re clean and functional.

We usually stay at Dillon visiting family in Newark. It can get busy on weekends. On weekdays there are very few people this time of the year. We had site 33 which was a great end site. Zanesville is only about 5 miles away for shopping. The best pizza ever is in Zanesville too - the Cottage Pie.

My mom and I enjoy Dillon very much. It’s very close to shopping. Our Verizon had great service. The Dam is amazing. I highly recommend. The cabins looked great!

Very nice state park campground. Sites well spaced and grass‐covered. Most sites shaded. Many level, but some just moderately sloped. Absolutely worth the short detour off I70.

Our stay at Dillion State Park was short but we explored the campground and the park.
The variety of types of camp sites as well as activities in the area, we could easily stay for
a few weeks.

Nice park. Well maintained. Bathrooms are frumpy, but clean. All water taps are on the curb side, so you have to have a long hose or get creative to fill up.

They do have an awesome laundry facility with commercial washers. I definitely took advantage of that. There are basketball courts, playgrounds, a disc golf course, mountain biking trails, hiking trails– you name it! Tons of amenities here and the facilities are really nice. The nearby town of Zanesville has a lot of stores too if you need anything.
