Despite Reserve America’s and CT State’s info, this is really not appropriate for RVs. Only a few spots are remotely level, and Reserve America said they cannot change tour spot, call the park; nobody answers or returns calls at the park office, we even flagged down a ranger to try to get our spot changed. She was lovely and said she had to call her boss, which I think she did right in the spot but still no action or assistance. Disappointing.

We were here for three nights and were the only trailer in the small park. They had a terrible flood here is recent times and it took out the bridge just outside of the campground entrance. They are actively replacing the bridge but who knows when it will reopen.
The very nearby Chapman Falls was nice to go visit but we were here because of it's relatively close location to Gillette Castle. A must see thing to do in this area, unfortunately we were here a few weeks to early because it doesn't open for tours until Memorial Day Weekend. We did get to walk around the outside of the castle and admire the elaborate stonework all around the property.
Also close by is the town of Mystic, CT with the famous seaport and pizza.
But you're here for campground info so here goes:
2 Port-A-Pottie style pit toilets were relatively clean and useable.
Campsite was just a dirt driveway which was very unlevel.
The water pump is contaminated and out of commission. It won't pass the health inspections and we were told it has been that way for several years now.
With the bridge out you'll need to take an 8 mile detour to access the campground through some very narrow and winding local roads.
We visited this campground from 05/13/19 to 05/16/19.

TWO PEAS AND THE POD: DEVIL'S HOPYARD STATE PARK (CT)
With just 22 sites, no running water or electric, and only pit toilets on site, this isn't much of an RVer's destination campground. It is better suited for tent campers and weekend getaways. We onl...
