“Loved Our Stay Here!”

Overall Rating

We stayed here four nights before the April 8, 2024 Solar Eclipse and loved it. Very friendly, accommodating staff. A few sites are full hookup, some others are electric only and the rest are primitive. Theres porta potty’s but no showers.
I think they are working on getting more electric sites. It was fun watching the barges go up and down the river.

“Frequently vist one night on travels through Illinois to Missouri”

Overall Rating

On Mississippi with sand shoreline on northern end of camp. Our dogs loved swimming there.
River boats pass close by so at night may experience spot light scanning shore line for buoys.
City owned park so don't expect a resort but enjoyable park to stay at. Roads are gravel, sand and some limited pavement. This is riverside and they do experience flooding so wear and tear from this are inevitable.
