General:
1) KOA signs posted and branding but cannot apply KOA discount or rewards.
2) Sites (back-in and pull-through) are short but workable.
3) Showers are private and clean.
Campground WiFi:
-Unable to connect.
Cell/hotspot using booster:
-Verizon: 3 of 4 bars 4G
Details:
Check-in: Easy in-office. Nice welcoming staff.
Sites (1): Not the best sites. Our site and others near us needed significant leveling.
Sites (2): Class A and large 5th Wheels had trouble with parking their tow vehicles and getting into/out of the spots without some finesse. Very tight rows and sites are a bit packed.
Grounds: The grounds are clean.
Bathrooms/Showers: Decent private showers in individual lockable rooms.
Laundry: Did not use.
Location: 20 min from Denali NP visitor center. 10 min from town. 5 min from gas and groceries.
Near interstate: It is off of the main route. Our was closest to the road and did have loud road noise (lots of trucks)
Near train: Not that I recall.

Overall Rating
We stayed in the J row and the water was yellow and didn’t taste great. Do not drink the water!!!! Other than the road noise and the water, the campground was nice. One other thing, they have Good Sam stickers on the office doors, but they will not give discount for Good Sam members.

“CORONA VIRUS PREVENTED STAY”

Overall Rating
This is the only campground to collect a 50% fee due to travel restrictions due to the Corona Virus. Offered to move reservation to 2021 but we will not be anywhere near the Pacific Northwest. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!!
