Thank you city of Greensburg for this park where a traveler can rest for a night. Just off 54 road with electric sites ( two paved) and few on the grass. Water in the middle. no facilities. Good for a night stop.

Came into town from the west, going east. GPS took me to center of town but really, this place is right off the main drag, heading east. Large grassy park adjacent lot to walk our large dog around. There were a couple of water spigots scattered in the park but nothing marked potable/non-potable and way to far to get a hose to - but it was running!
Thanks to Greenburg for sharing your park with us!

Electric Hookup In City Park. Paved Near Grass. Multiple Hookups On Each Post. Frisbee Golf Baskets In Park Plus Swings Etc. Needed Mowing And Lots Of Flies. But Free Electric Is Definitely Worth It. Right Off Highway - Plenty Of Room For Towed Trailers. Pull In & Out .

Nothing fancy here. Enjoyed a peaceful nights sleep, with hardly any road noise. There were a couple of trains that came through, but they weren’t that loud. Would gladly stay here for another quick overnight. Better than a rest stop with constant semi’s and traffic all night long.

Trash cans and a community water spigot are provided, as well as FREE 15 amp power (please don’t try to run your air conditioner on that, though!). Power was strong enough to run our electric space heater, keeping us warm through the night. There’s a big playground, too, if you have littles with you. There were several trains (not excessively close by), but they didn’t interfere with our sleep. Our thanks to Greensburg for providing Davis Park!

6:pm...only one here. There’s a bus w/toad over by the bathroom but I guess they don’t want the free power. Cool out so don’t need much, just coffee and microwave supper. TV says 4 channels, but they’re scrambled. Didn’t see the hookup/parking area at first but it’s right after the turn...east of the pool.

Nice older city park with shelter houses, playground equipment, baseball diamonds, and electricity and water. You would need a 50’ hose or more to reach the water, but it is available. This site could host 7 or more campers. It’s nice and quiet being next to the highway which is 35 mph here. The exception is when the train comes by and blows its whistle. It didn’t wake me in the night but it’s fairly loud during the day. Good place to stop. There are restaurants within an easy walk and a nice Kansas town atmosphere.
