There is a ton of room, it is a dirt parking lot but didn’t seem too dusty. The ice cream was really good.

Dateland. The name is fun! And for a person who dislikes dates, these folks will fix you a date shake that is yummy. If you get caught out on I-8, on your way to Gila Bend and Ajo, this is where you can stay overnight. It's a Food Mart, but also an oasis complete with date trees. Dateland. The name is fun! And for a person who dislikes dates, these folks will fix you a date shake that is yummy.
If you get caught out on I-8, on your way to Gila Bend and Ajo, this is where you can stay overnight. It's a Food Mart, but also an oasis complete with date trees.
Food Mart fixes you up a date or cactus shake, plus other hot foods. Gas up because it's the last service for 20ish miles. Nice gift shop, too.
I didn't want to drive at night so I stopped here and I am so glad I did.
