Overall Rating
Very clean park with nice grass close to the highway. There was some highway noise but didn’t bother me. Showers and bathroom were very clean. We enjoyed our stop on our travels home. Plus we stopped to see the Corn Palace. It’s a fun short stop.

Overall Rating
While traveling south, we decided to give this place a try for the night. It was just as described in the other reviews! While it was crowded, it was nice and quiet and we enjoyed the night. Would definitely recommend it!

This is a great little stop over campground for anyone making a trip across the state. We had planned to stop in Mitchell and stay at the Walmart on our way to Badlands, but saw Dakota and decided to give it a try. Full hookup sites, swimming pool and a small arcade for the kids. We had planned to stop in Mitchell and stay at the Walmart on our way to Badlands, but saw Dakota and decided to give it a try. Full hookup sites, swimming pool and a small arcade for the kids. Definitely recommend this campground if you’re looking for a quick overnighter.

Nice campsite. Fills up. So glad we made a reservation. Clean bathrooms and showers. Nice laundry facility. Nice swimming pool but we only stayed one night so too cold to swim at 8pm. Friendly folks.

Just needed a place to stay with electricity since it’s hot and we needed AC. Friendly staff. They have a bathhouse and a pool but we didn’t use them. Good wifi.

Rate is with good Sam discount and taxes. The nightly rate is excellent. I would give this park a 4 star if the roads had gravel, or even a 5 if paved, but they’re dirt. It rained the night before we arrived, so mud & mud puddles is what we had. This is a good park for a short stay. Long sites, FHU, average spacing, dead grass in ... more

It rained the night before we arrived, so mud & mud puddles is what we had. This is a good park for a short stay. Long sites, FHU, average spacing, dead grass in between sites. Playground which the kids in the park seemed to enjoy. Very old pool, but a pool just the same. An arcade with 4-5 games in a garage next to the pool area. Mature trees throughout. Dump station located next to the playground, not great! Our site was across from the playground / dump station, so we got the order, and lost water pressure when the dump station was in use. Management was available if needed, not overly friendly. Road leading to the park off the main road is dirt road as well.

Great quiet place to stay lots of shade for all campsites. Would stay again. Good Sam members get 10% off. So we only paid $27 for electric/water site. Did a lord of Laundry and price was great for that too.
