Super easy to find! Only saw one other person while I was there. It was very relaxing at my site but I could hear the interstate which took away from the camping feel. Super easy to find! Only saw one other person while I was there. It was very relaxing at my site but I could hear the interstate which took away from the camping feel. Set up camp and made some dinner. Once the sun set it was game over. Hundreds and hundreds of bugs. In my face, in my food, in my car, everywhere. Since it’s the swamp I should have known, but I couldn’t stand it so I left. Would’ve been a great spot if you can handle being harassed by buggies!

There are A LOT of spots available along the bayou. Many were large enough for several large rigs. Shaded. Peaceful. I heard no traffic at the spot I was at. There were bugs. There are A LOT of spots available along the bayou. Many were large enough for several large rigs. Shaded. Peaceful. I heard no traffic at the spot I was at. There were bugs. To be expected but it may have been also because of the bayou. I saved a turtle the size of my head that was trying to cross the road when I was leaving. I had signal although some of my pics I was sending failed or were delayed.

Overall Rating
Would of enjoyed it longer if I wasn’t stuck in the longest traffic jam of my life but finding this spot was such a relief. The sky was beautiful and I’d definitely spend more time here. Not that hard for my lil Kia to drive to.
