Boondocking north and stopped for dump and water. Dump is $12 and water is $6. No flush out of sewer. Cash only. Plenty or room to manuver. Two lanes for filtered water. Quick in and out.

The sign at the gate says, "Texas BBQ RV Park." It ain't Texas and there was no BBQ. This park is right behind "Silly Al's Pizza," at the end of Showplace Lane. They want $6 a night to dry camp, $12 a night for hook ups. Hook ups are electricity, water, sewer. We paid $10 a night for a 30 night stay. This is a good location. Tyson Well... more

Tyson Wells is walkable as is Quiet Times, the 76-Station, laundry, and Roadrunner Market. The park is mostly level, gravel, and space size is decent. There is a dump station and water. I believe the cost of both are included in your space fee. Except for the traffic on the main street and I10, it was quiet. We will stay here again!!

We stayed here while working at the Tyson Wells swap meet. It is a 5-10 minute walk to the show grounds -- just go under the interstate and you're there. Smiley, the camp host, is a great guy.
Being next to the I-10, this location is loud day and night with traffic noise. It's not glamorous but it gets the job done & is less expensive than staying at the Wells.

We stayed here one night so we could walk to Al's (200 yds) to watch the Final Four games. But it suited our purposes fine to be able to watch the games while eating pizza and drinking beer and walk back to the camper.
To clarify, I don't think you can dump for free with your $6/night. i believe the $12 charge is for everyone. However we did not dump while there so I can't confirm. Just basing on the signs I read there.
