Pick your lines wisely. The USFS host (in Site 1) and other have gotten much larger trailers and Class-Cs up to this point, but it requires more skill and risk tolerance than the average. The camping area is quite rutted but we managed to back into a flat spot. Self-contained vehicles like SUVs and pickup trucks won't have any real difficulty accessing any of the dispersed camping along Sheep Creek Road. Again, just pick your lines wisely. Views are amazing. USFS host was engaged and visited us twice.

Getting up the road was a challenge. We were in a 28’ class C RV. Curtis Canyon campground road was closed, so we went up to a dispersed space. Incredible views!! Highly recommend.

We loved it here. The Teton Mountain View was great from the spot we had that was right on the edge of hills going into the forest. Make sure you read the signs and ONLY park in areas that are marked for camping - the park ranger was a stickler and kept trying to give people tickets that parked in an area that was easily mistaken for a camp site. Very little noise other than cars coming up and down the road Looking for spots or just visiting the area. It is a very bumpy road but we were able to make it with our 2 wheel drive camper van. Great spot- get there before dinner time if you want to secure a good spot. There were lots of Last minute people Trying to find spots around 8- 9 pm. Overall great spot.

The road is rough but manageable. Our sprinter van made it up no problem. Once you past this spot and continue up the mountain it gets really rough. This space turns into a parking lot at night, several cars came in after dark and left at crack of dawn (I assume a good amount of Jackson locals use this spot to crash time to time). If y... more

If you want privacy this is not the place. But if you’re just looking for a place to lay your head and want to catch an amazing sunset, this place is perfect. Cell signal is fantastic too.

Very rough road but by taking it easy, was able to navigate my extended length Sprinter 3500 just fine. There are also some fantastic tent sites just to the southwest from the parking area. These are out on a bluff with even better views
