We found the road up just fine. We stayed 2 nights. Enough to gold pan a little ($21/Sr) The folks are very accommodating. Our friends got the last campsite, #6. Very steep though. The road to this area is horrible. Very slow going and I say this after driving the Al-Can to Tok :) First, when we got there and were setting up in site 2 (#2 on the picnic table) a lady drove up and asked if we knew what site we were in. We hit this place right. There are a dozen quiet dry camping sites along the drive to the gold mine. Our Rv is 36 feet and there was plenty of room.
