The park hosts were very visible and friendly. The campground is fairly small and quiet. Biggest complaint was the spiders, SO many of grand daddy long legs. Marina has a small store with a lot of necessities, but only serves pizza from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Baits Market was a short drive up the road, and they had everything the marina didn’t, including the pizza😁. The beach was a little muddy around the public swim area. There was also a Bald Eagle building a nest above spot 29. Bathroom and shower house were well maintained. The dump station could be a little tedious to get to if you have a large rig. We were in spot 33 close to the woods and got a visit from a skunk one night, and saw lots of evidence of armadillos as well. Wildlife is plentiful, and I mention the spiders? The green areas could have used a mow. Verizon service was a little spotty with best service near the marina. Overall, we enjoyed the campground, but would choose a different site next time.

We stayed this past weekend here. This is a pretty campground with the sites under a grove of mature pine trees. The lake and boat dock are within walking distance, and the dock is fully renovated with a nice store. Branson MO and Harrison AR. are a short drive away.

Spot 9 was super shaded, nice paved wide pad with a separate picnic table and grill area. The camp host was friendly and helpful and was very visible around the campground. There is a marina and boat launch conveniently located along with another area that is a swimming and picnic area. Lots of deer each day walking about the campground, including a momma with three fawns! This campground was super quiet during the week and was only busy on the weekends when the locals came out. We drove into Branson multiple times and it was easily accessible. Overall, great campground and we will stay here again!

Check in for our pre-reserved site was super quick and we headed to back in site 4, which was FHUs. As we were pulling away from checking in, the nice lady manning the check in booth reminded us that the site was FHUs, and that there was wood to burn if we wanted it, which of course we did. Backing into site 4 was easy. Site 4 was a large site that sat pretty much off by itself. After we were set up, one of the park guests came by asking if we were camp hosts as in the past the site was used by hosts. Makes sense why this site was so large and with FHUs as the other sites in the park were water and electric only. We had a sliver of lake view through the trees, as did sites 6 - 20. Campground was up on a hill so no direct water access. The playground and swimming beach were closed due to the flooding. There were no formal trails to walk the dogs. We stayed 7 days coming in on a Monday and the campground thinned out some then filled up for the weekend. The campground shared a road to the private marina and boat launch. This was a great CG for boaters due to the marina and boat launch access. We needed RV maintenance and called AAA RV Service. AAA only takes cash or local checks, no credit cards. They wouldn't even take an immediate cc payment from our warranty service. They also required up front payment to get the replacement air conditioner before installation so we parted ways and were out the $135 initial service fee.
