“ Creepy Lot- Would Actively Discourage Staying Here”

Don’t stay here, especially if you’re solo. Got the ok from CB and I was the only one in the lot. Lot is very dimly lit, not visible from the main road, and backs up to woods. Someone knocked on my door at 2am (not the police), then when I didn’t answer they knocked again. They left when I yelled “yea?” So idk what they wanted, but probably nothing good at 2am. I left immediately, went to the rest stop 30 miles north on I-55 and stayed there with no issues.

Stopped here while traveling across I-10/I-12 from FL to TX. Arrived after dark and no other RVs in the parking lot, which is not a great sign to me. No one else parked there during the night either. The RV spots are behind the restaurant and next to dark, wooded area, but there are a number of other businesses with lit parking around. The neighborhood felt somewhat safe.
There is truck parking nearby so moderate noise from rigs running and coming/going overnight. Trash truck very loudly woke us up at 5:30am but this is probably a risk at any Cracker Barrel 1-2 nights/week.
There are a lot of CB, Walmart, Rest Area options on this corridor. I’d stay somewhere else next time but overall this spot is okay.
