Easy To Find. Gas Station Nearby That Has Water. Just Stayed A Night While Passing Through. Very Loud From The Freeway. Multiple Low Level Planes Overnight. Some Garbage But Not Terrible. Lake View Was Nice.

Right off the highway and lots of space for all sized rigs. Minimal traffic noise and no issues spending the night. Felt safe! Pretty lake views! Would stay again!

Plenty of spots that were open I think it’s the local cops turnaround spot, lol was fine until a freak storm came through with golf ball size hail and puts dents all over our truck

Hassle free layover. It is close to I-80. The noise was manageable. We set up on the east side of the lake under a Cottonwood tree. Better than a Walmart.

Very easy place to find, right off I-80. Beautiful little lake you can fish at, pull up a chair and relax Lots of open areas for solar and to move around. Space for plenty of cars, tents, travel trailers and big rigs. Conveniently has a gas station/general store across the highway with pizza, wings, sandwiches and coffee. No bathroom... more
Very easy place to find, right off I-80. Beautiful little lake you can fish at, pull up a chair and relax Lots of open areas for solar and to move around. Space for plenty of cars, tents, travel trailers and big rigs. Conveniently has a gas station/general store across the highway with pizza, wings, sandwiches and coffee. No bathrooms, water or electric here but great pit stop for overnight and its FREE! T-mobile cellular was at 5G for our overnight trip.

We got in late at night after dark and could still pretty easily find where to go. We saw a police camped out checking speeds right by, making us feel safe. We got in late at night after dark and could still pretty easily find where to go. We saw a police camped out checking speeds right by, making us feel safe. There are several spots to tuck off the gravel road around the lake, the main lot is two the right and with a little road to to the left. Walking around the lake is a nice way to stretch legs. Solid Verizon, T Mobile, and Starlink service.

We stayed at this campsite for a few days, it was extremely easy to find and we got a fairly level parking spot on the Eastern side of the lake. The road noise was loud and fairly constant, there were also several trains honking in the night. The lake was our favorite part of this campsite, we saw lots of people fishing during the week... more
We stayed at this campsite for a few days, it was extremely easy to find and we got a fairly level parking spot on the Eastern side of the lake. The road noise was loud and fairly constant, there were also several trains honking in the night. The lake was our favorite part of this campsite, we saw lots of people fishing during the weekend. We could not walk around barefoot because of all the burs, it was really annoying to get them stuck in our shoes and all over our clothing.
After the first night we almost packed up and moved somewhere else, but we were waiting for a package to arrive in Lexington and didn't find any alternative options that made sense for our route. We tried to make the most of our stay and spent a lot of time by the water, it was fun to watch Osprey diving for fish and even a Bald Eagle.
It was frustrating how fast large trucks would drive on the gravel road, the air was frequently filled with dust. We also experienced really strong winds (30-40mph with gusts 60+) for almost 24 hours.

I arrived here late in the afternoon after filling water up at the previous rest stop this was a great stop for an overnight. I didn’t see any signs stating no camping or no overnight. I arrived here late in the afternoon after filling water up at the previous rest stop this was a great stop for an overnight. I didn’t see any signs stating no camping or no overnight. It is off the highway and train tracks on the other side of the highway, but it was a peaceful overnight sleep, of course road noise picked up in the early hours. I was the only one in the parking lot all night early morning fishermen did arrive around 6 AM, but otherwise great place to stop over a dog and I had a nice walk in the morning with our coffee definitely would stop here again if I was passing through.
And plenty of room for two or three RVs spots weren’t too bad pretty level

Great overnight stay right off of I 80.
We were the only ones here. Gravel parking lot with a view of a small pond. Plenty of room for our 45 ft TT and tow. Slept great. I would stay here again.
