This was our first visit here and will definitely come back! Our site had 50amp hookup, water about 40-50’ away and our 36’ Motorhome fit nicely. Large picnic area and short path down to a sandy beach on the lake. Site is elevated well above high water lines. Plenty of walking and biking throughout the park. Next time we will ... more
This was our first visit here and will definitely come back!
Our site had 50amp hookup, water about 40-50’ away and our 36’ Motorhome fit nicely. Large picnic area and short path down to a sandy beach on the lake. Site is elevated well above high water lines.
Plenty of walking and biking throughout the park. Next time we will be sure to bring our fishing poles.
Only giving 4star on site quality because there is no sewer hookup at site.

We got lucky and found this spot available. Happened to look at the right time. Big tall trees everywhere. Beach shore access and cleaner looking water than most lakes in nc. We got lucky and found this spot available. Happened to look at the right time. Big tall trees everywhere. Beach shore access and cleaner looking water than most lakes in nc. Water hookup is not near the power hookup though. About 40’ away. Had to improvise. Near a point so water views on both sides through the trees. Very spacious and not right next to neighbors. Great park. Can’t go wrong anywhere in Kerr lake. Love it here.

Beautiful campground. However we were not able to stay in the site we reserved because even though our 40’ motorhome would fit In the site the roads were too tight to get to it. We tore up the side of our motorhome on a stump that was on the side of the road trying to access the site. We ended up leaving. If you have an RV over prob... more
Beautiful campground. However we were not able to stay in the site we reserved because even though our 40’ motorhome would fit In the site the roads were too tight to get to it. We tore up the side of our motorhome on a stump that was on the side of the road trying to access the site. We ended up leaving. If you have an RV over probably 34 feet you may have trouble. Some of the turns in the park are pretty tight. Our campsite was beautiful though. It was a shame we couldn’t get into it.

Overall Rating
Arrived at around 5:30pm, checked in at the gate with the park ranger. Headed to the loop to find out spot. Was pleasantly surprised that the site was directly on the lake. The view was amazing! The campsite is gravel, electric and water within 10-15 feet. Picnic table and fire ring.
