Essentially this is a very large open grass field with asphalt roads. Sites are huge and very deep - though the site isn't that distinguishable from the grass surrounding it. Like a fairground, the ground isn't level so it took a little work to find the right position to get level. A trailer or larger rig with hydraulic jacks wouldn't have this problem. The sewer connection was set way far back as well but we made it work. Check-in was painless and the instructions for getting to our site were good. We had couples in a 5th wheel beside us, and two huge class A's behind us so the neighborhood was fine. Camping World can be reached by walking to the SE corner of the campground.
I was there for a MTB clinic at the RAMBA trailhead which was only 7 minutes by car so this was uber convenient. The trails are awesome BTW and connect to the Iron Ore Heritage Trail which is great as well. Ishpeming and Negaunee are both cute little towns and Marquette is fun to explore.
My $50 rate includes a 10% Good Sam discount so it's not cheap but the convenience and area made it worthwhile. We didn't really use any of the park amenities but the "dog run" created out of orange plastic construction barrier fencing was not terribly inviting. We had a great T-Mobile 5G signal as high as 61 DL / 10 UL, and AT&T LTE 15 DL/5 UL.
If coming from the west, the park is best reached by turning a block early at Lakeshore Drive which has a stoplight. It is a good place to exit as well if continuing east out of the park. Otherwise, you'd turn at the Flagstar Bank just west of Camping World for the road directly into the park.

We enjoyed our stay at Country Village. A lot of the sites are quite roomy with trees and grass. Looked like all had a fire ring and a picnic table. The sites could use some leveling work in the off season, some would not have worked without a lot of blocking. The area is quiet at night, out of Marquette but only a short drive in to get a pasty or check out the awesome shoreline attractions. Cell coverage was pretty weak though. Nightly rate of $45 I posted reflects the Good Sam discount, but the monthly rate of +- $800 is calling us for next summer.

Still working so connection is important. This place is great. Lots of local hiking and mountain biking. Marquette and Lake Superior are 20 minutes away. Lots of pace between site so, although there were a lot of kids, it was still quiet.

Nice campground right on the main highway located behind a bowling center, McDonald's, and Hilltop RV. Nice camp store with bathrooms and showers. Pool was nice on a warm day. They also have a nice pavilion, basketball court, and horseshoe pits.
