We stayed here in late June 2022 with our two kids (3 and 5) and dog. There are about 20 sites only, first come first serve, some near river. Bathrooms were kept clean (upscale porta potty) and there is a working water pump. Lots of trails to walk or hike and you can drive further up the mountains. We stayed in our travel trailer. Sites had picnic table and fire ring. There were also pre cut logs to use for the fire. We saw lots of deer, chipmunks, a moose and a bald eagle. No cell service and is dry camping only. Would camp here again!!

“Along the creek. Nice place. Grizzly bears. Stocked pond for fishing. ”

It's a bit of a drive but the road is wide and maintained. The main road also goes atop the mountain where many people hike and horseback ride. There is a trail head there. The campground is tight. My 22 footer had some issues but any longer and you may not fit. There are plenty of Dry camping spots along the road there for bigger rigs. This is a pristine place. Fishing the creek is some of the best you will ever find for a small stream. There is also a small pond with an overwhelming amount of rainbows. It's fun to swim in too. The place seldom sees people and I hesitate to write this review as it is pure Montana. No cell service. No hookups. Dry camping only. Has garbage and vaulted toilets.
MTliving would stay here again
