Not a great campground. Most of it is swamp; really soft, wet. There are lots of mosquitoes. Very difficult to be outside.

Excellent location with an easy walk or bike to Commercial! Once setup , we didn’t use our truck once during our weeklong stay! Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Hope to return for a longer stay next summer!

All of the sites are a little close together and offer little privacy, but if you have a larger rig you can book in the "field" where there is more room. Many of the sites have seasonal / full-timers.
As far as amenities, they have a clean bathhouse, great Wifi, and a store with the basics, but that's about it.
We stayed for two-weeks on our tour of the Cape and found it to be more than adequate for our needs.
Verizon, AT&T, and Starlink all had more than enough DL/UL for us to work. If you're solely relying on their Wifi, sometimes is was slow and we had to switch connections, but normally, it was more than enough.

We are making an east coast, on the move tour. We almost didn’t come to Ptown because it’s well off the path for us to Maine. We decided to make a day trip out of it and once here, we thought we’d stay one night. We were so happy with our decision that we have put this on our list as a summer retirement destination.
As for the campground, it is RV friendly for any size. It appears to have a lot of seasonal rigs, so I’m not sure how easy it would be to stay on the fly in the busy season like we did. However, this is a great park. We’ll kept, full hook up and very clean. This is on the west end of town and it’s a short walk to all the shops on Commercial St.
We definitely plan on coming back here and staying at this park for a summer once we retire.
Wish we had more time on this trip.

Thank you Coastal Acres for a beautiful stay in Provincetown, and allowing us the extra late checkout to finish virtual school for the day with great wifi! This was the perfect place to enjoy Provincetown, walkable and bike-able! Everything was very nice, thank you!

Easy access to running/ bike trails at cape cod National Seashore. It’s cramped, but roomier than most urban campgrounds. Showers were hit, easily controlled & good water pressure. Garbage pickup at your site between 8am & 6pm. We had WiFi at our site.

Coastal Acres is a no-frills campground located in the heart of Provincetown. We paid $52/night (off-season rate) for a cramped site with 20-amp electric and a shared water hook-up. The showers are old and coin operated and there is no laundry, but it was quiet and clean, and based solely on location we would come back here again in a heartbeat.
If you want to a place to park the RV while you explore Provincetown this is the place to be.

“Terrible manager”
noted 8/30/2022
My spouse developed Covid and we had to cancel within the 7 day window. The camp manager refused to provide a refund under these exceptional circumstances. Instead, she offered to allow us to stay post labor day up until Nov. 1st. When I explained that I would be unable to take advantage of those dates due to work commitments, and instead would prefer a refund. She rudely hung up the phone. I think people who intend to stay here should know that if you encounter a problem, you will have deal with this person who is unaccomodating, inflexible, disrespectful and rude.
