The only thing that was not good was there was no cell service like the review said. My daughter and her friend paint the rocks around the campfire I cannot say enough good things about this area. Maybe another negative is there’s no shade but we used our canopy and everything worked perfect.

We stayed at a spot close to Clyde creek and were able to hike down the hillside to the creek.
Cell service for T-Mobile was decent although intermittent.
There was some garbage in a few of the sites and a bunch of downed trees. That combined with the immense amount of sand and dust everywhere would prevent me from staying here again.

There is a multi station dump up inside the main entrance to Strawberry Reservoir where dumping costs $10 but drinking water is free.
The marina has most everything you may need including LP, Gas and Diesel but obviously be prepared to pay.
Heber City is the closest access to big stores Walmart etc, laundromat or mail receiving services.
There is no real weather forecast for this exact area, at least not that we found. The closest weather was Heber or Independence, both of which were 5/10* warmer than this exact location.
We saw a lot of smoke from the fires over at Provo but it kind of missed us and only covered the south western end of the area and reservoir. Unfortunately these fires created a temporary no fly zone which only just reached our location and restricted me from taking drone shots. This would probably have been the the best areal shots of the year. The National Forest welcome center and hatchery was an awesome treat for us all, especially the kids.
This will definitely be one of our go too locations when passing through this neck of the woods.

We decided to stay here because we got to the Park City area early and we didn't want to pay for one night. We were hoping for a quiet spot, even though we were getting there on a Saturday.
Let's start with the good. Close to Heber City, beautiful views and decent size spots. We got a spot on a Saturday about a mile down the road. All the spots are right off the road. The road was actually really good. It was gravel but no huge ruts or bumps. Another good thing for people with big rigs is that the spots will fit you. I don't know what the turn around situation is past a mile down the road but most spots you could pull in and back out of without disrupting people staying there.
The cons. The bugs were terrible. The moment I stepped out of the car and walked over to the rig there were bugs biting my ankles. Flies, fleas, gnats, those cute green things, horse flies, you name it. You couldn't step outside. There was zero data for verizon and maybe 2-3 bars of service for calls. This is a huge area for ATVers and they don't slow down when going by your area. Loud music, people yelling over the engines and people everywhere. Yes, you'll say we got there on a Saturday but the people there looked like they had been there for quite some time. The ATVers started right in the morning and went well into the evening.
When you turn onto the Clyde Creek Road off of strawberry after the first cow grate there is a huge spot. This isn't a group or an individual spot it's just open for whomever to stay so you can't block anyone from staying in it. There were about 20 rigs and trailers already there and still there when we left Sunday late morning. So you'll probably be sharing if you don't want to drive down the road. Most of the spots would be good for solar if you have it.
It was hard giving this place a bad review because we always look forward to boondocking. They usually are our favorite places, but this is one place that we will not be back to.

Access was easy and the privacy was good. The spots are not right on the creek, but rather across a field from them.
Two issues were the dirty camp site we inherited - food and trash left out and the mosquitoes. Otherwise we enjoyed a beautiful night.
We had good Verizon signal and no T-Mobile.
