I found one obvious camp site but otherwise a narrow dirt road in with only a few places to pull off or turn around. Wouldn't suggest it for a trailer. All by myself right next to a channel of the North Platte slipping by at 5 knots. If the river was 2 ft. higher it would be flooded. Great birding. Quiet, Peaceful. Somebody left a pile of beer cans which I cleaned up and there was a discarded fish head with guts feeding the local biome. Adequate reception, esp with booster. I don't know thunderstorms and grape sized hail - exciting!

Some big potholes at the end of the access loop, where you setup. I used my 4 wheel drive. If it ever rains again in Nebraska/Wyoming you might get stuck. The nearby rancher drove down to say hello and we had a nice chat.

We pulled in the second pull off, our 26’ camper just fit with the truck attached. Some of the ground by the river is lumpy and we had to watch clearance.
Once we were settled we really enjoyed it, there is a ranch across the road and fields where we watched a cattle drive in the morning.

My navigation software totally brought me right into his front yard. He is a great, friendly guy btw.
Mosquitoes were bad in the morning even in October, Indian summer. Coyotes howling at night was wonderful. Be very mindful of fire hazards. Lots of tall grass, watch your tailpipe.

We stopped in at the first campsite, and it’s beautiful so we didn’t travel any further down the game road. Views are awesome, extremely quiet just perfect.
