“Showers Have Been Shut Since Covid”

We needed a quick overnight in our sprinter. The staff were friendly and accommodated us after hours. The sites were flat with full hookups but we were very disappointed that they didn’t have their bathroom or showers open (and failed to tell us this when we made the reservation.). All amenities were closed.

If you're looking for a full hook-up campground that is safe, clean, quiet, and has fairly large, level sites, then Cielo Vista is for you. The third level offers amazing views. If you're looking for a full hook-up campground that is safe, clean, quiet, and has fairly large, level sites, then Cielo Vista is for you. The third level offers amazing views. Note there is no wifi or cable and the bathrooms are currently closed. The laundry was clean and worked well. The weekly rate is $175 (cash or check only) plus electric. It was cold, so we ran our heater and the electric for the week totaled $37. This is a no-frills campground, but it is in a great location within walking distance of downtown Truth or Consequences. Soaking at Riverbend Hotsprings shouldn't be missed. The property pass gives you access to 7 or 8 pools of different temperatures, and a sauna. Go at sunset, it's magical. The brewery also fun and there are several good restaurants.

We stayed here for 2 nights, even though our reservation was lost they took care of us and even made room for our enclosed trailer at no extra cost. Great people and a neat town.

We have stayed twice in the past, but this is our first review. The park is situated on a hill, just west of downtown Truth or Consequences. We have stayed twice in the past, but this is our first review.
The park is situated on a hill, just west of downtown Truth or Consequences. We stayed on Level 2, which is gravel with concrete pads for your doorstep. We found the park still had a number of snowbirds and a number of permanent residents. The grounds were clean and orderly and the staff on the weekend was friendly and informative.
The amount of space between sites enabled a relaxed and cordial community. We spoke with a number of campers and everyone was very friendly. The weather in April is very nice with warm days and cool nights. The restrooms were clean and attended to. The facility has a reading room, a pool table, and a community kitchen that can be rented for events.
For campers that are electronically sensitive, we recommend Level 2 where we found the lowest wifi and emf readings.
The best part of the park is the proximity to fun and funky T or C!

This convenient park is on the hill behind Tractor Supply. Turn between TS and a gas station. Park has 3 "levels" . We stayed on lvl 3. Easy in and out. Most sites are level gravel and some have concrete pads. Only complaint is the price paid for full hook-ups but no wifi. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Probably want a re... more

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Probably want a reservation in peak season.
Perfect place for us to rest. And the heart of old downtown is only a 1 mile walk for shopping, and hot springs/spa services. (confession: we un-hooked and drove down)
