“Very Nice And Quiet National Forest Campground”

Overall Rating
Many open sites in early August. Very lush and green, don’t expect much solar charging. $15 for standard sites and $18 for premium. Of course, half off for senior pass holders. Premium either are on the lake or have paved pads. Sites are large enough for any rig and well spaced.
Clean flush restrooms with shower available, $5 for 5 minutes. Play area with old fashioned swing 12 foot high and slide 8 foot steel, horse shoe pits, sand box, and beach volleyball court.

Overall Rating
The campground was very quiet and the bathrooms/showers were clean. Camp hosts Terry and Sue were very friendly. Only negative for us would be that there was very little to do in the way of activities and the water was very murky and dirty and there were quiet a few mosquitoes. It is a little off the beaten path but we didn’t mind the drive. Will need to get a fishing license next time to try our hand at catching some fish. Will come back if we are in this area again.
